Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was born in Belarus in Minsk. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her hockey-playing father. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk, Belarus on May 5th, 1998. In her career she has had 12 WTA singles titles including the Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. She is also an excellent doubles player she has two more Majors to this area, the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both together with Elise Mertens. She was the winner of two majors, her first WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian partner, completing what is known as the Sunshine Double. This feat was made possible by four couples competing in singles for women. She rose from second to third place in the World Singles Rankings on 23 August 2021. The highest ranking she achieved was also achieved in the month of the month of January in 2023. But in doubles, she climbed to number one following her win at Melbourne that following year. She was trained by the former Russian tennis champion Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the end of the 2019 season and partially at the start of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was her coach from August through September 2020. Her training has been provided by her native hero Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are among her greatest idols.
